Gin Basil Smash

Originally created in Hamburg, Germany, the Gin Basil Smash is a delightfully refreshing cocktail for those seeking an easy and delicious afternoon cocktail. This cocktail truely lives up to its original name of Gin Pesto, and we recommend that when it comes to the basil - more is definitely better!

INGREDIENTS

12 basil leaves
60 ml White Pearl Gin
25 ml lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup

METHOD

Muddle basil in base of a shake.
Add other ingredients, shake with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.
Serve in old fashioned glass, garnish with basil.
